PELLA ? Hedrick native Mycaela Crouse, senior biology major at Central College, presented at the Heartland Global Health Consortium during October at Drake University.

Crouse?s poster presentation was entited ?The Effects of Environmental Levels of Triclosan on Newly Hatched Zebrafish LC50 and Heart Rates.? The presentation was awarded first place in the Undergraduate Division.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. ? Edna Jones, the daughter of Frazer Jones and Bo Luo of Fairfield, has been named to the dean?s list at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for the fall quarter.

In order to be named to the dean?s list, students must earn at least a 3.3 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Jones is majoring in mathematics.
