Central College scholarship recipients honored

Central College's 23rd annual Scholarship Dinner on April 20 honored donors, students and families who were seated together to share a meal, conversation and program. Over 500 attended the event.

Central boasts more than 235 donors who have established endowed scholarships and 2,180 who contributed to the Journey Scholarship Fund last year.

David Burnett, Class of 2024, from Fairfield received the Joan Farver Scholarship .

Emma Carlson, Class of 2022, from Fairfield received the Francis C. & Jeannette Huyser Endowed Scholarship and Pella Rolscreen Scholarship .

Colton Comstock, Class of 2026, from Hedrick received the Scholarship in memory of Brenda Daniel Gentry Class of 1997 .

Sophia Fritz, Class of 2026, from Brighton received the Pella Rolscreen Scholarship .

Kaylee Peiffer, Class of 2025, from Packwood received the Bill & Wilma Northup Endowed Scholarship .

Claire Pettit, Class of 2025, from Fairfield received the Jeanette and Elmer Vermeer Memorial Scholarship .

Martin Vineyard, Class of 2023, from Farmington received the Mihalovich Endowed Scholarship.

Samuel Beatty, Class of 2023, from Mount Pleasant received the C.V. Starr Scholarship .

Brody Bender, Class of 2024, from Mt Pleasant received the C.V. Starr Scholarship .

Kylie Kirk, Class of 2026, from Winfield received the Laurence & Lois Grooters Scholarship and Ray Martin Music Lessons Scholarship .

Jacob Moffett, Class of 2024, from Mount Pleasant received the Joseph L. & Marjorie E. Petz Scholarship .

Alyssa Striegel, Class of 2023, from Mt Pleasant received the Geisler Penquite Scholarship and James & Dorothy (Ostendorf) Vos Memorial Scholarship .

Grant Boyse, Class of 2023, from Wellman received the Ron Schipper Scholarship .

Nikolas Coble, Class of 2024, from Crawfordsville received the Taylor Brummel Endowed Scholarship .

Sophia Fritz, Class of 2026, from Brighton received the Pella Rolscreen Scholarship .

Addison Six, Class of 2024, from Washington received the Geisler Penquite Scholarship and Street Family Scholarship in Memory of Christopher Michael Street .
