Central Park Community Center

The monthly meeting of the Central Park Community Center was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, with eight members present.

The Community Center has received the new coffee maker through a memorial by the Witthoft family, and is thankful for the gift.

The treasurer?s report was given. Plans were made for the pancake and sausage breakfast at the center, which will be held from 7 to 10 a.m., Saturday, May 3, for a free-will offering.

SHARE Iowa will be at the center at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 26. Discussion was brought up of the Washington 175th celebration, which will be held June 1 through June 8. The center will be used as the headquarters.

Anyone is welcome to the center for cards, holding parties, reunions, meetings, or just to come and visit.

Bingo is played at the center on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.
