Central Park Community Center meets
The monthly meeting of the Central Park Community Center was held on Tuesday, Aug. 1, with five members present. The meeting was conducted by president Max Cousins.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The treasurer?s report was given by treasurer Barb Nelson.
The group learned that the Center was rented for the 6th, 12th and 13th of August. Bingo continues to do well.

The group learned that the Center was rented for the 6th, 12th and 13th of August. Bingo continues to do well.
On Thursday, July 27, there was an open house for Vernetta Crawford, who was in Washington visiting and now lives in Texas. She was a volunteer at the Center. An open house was held Saturday, Aug. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Applewood Bistro for member Gladys Carson, who will be celebrating her 90th birthday.
The meeting was adjourned.
