Chapter Iowa J
Chapter Iowa J, Wayland, of the National T.T.T. Society met July 7, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wayland Community Center in the city hall building. "Sword of Gold" was sung. Roll call was answered by 11 members. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved and the treasurer's report was given and filed for audit.

Joni Huisenga, Camp, reported the four girls sent by Iowa J had a tremendous time at camp.
Joni and Susan Mast had served as chaperones on the bus to camp. Bills were presented and paid for camper expenses. Four members of Iowa J went up to camp on that Tuesday to help in preparations for the Tuesday evening Carnival.
Motion carried to purchase back-to-school gift card for campers. Willa will order Journals for past campers who graduated this year. Ways and Means reported a successful tip night. The chapter will work tip nights at Mt. Pleasant on Sept. 3 and one at Washington on Sept. 22. A booth at the Washington Farmers Market is scheduled for July 24; from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Iowa J has no meeting in August. The next meeting will be Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Community Room.
The business meeting adjourned. Three of the four campers joined members for sundaes, cookies and drinks and a time of sharing with the members about their camping experiences. The girls were bubbly and totally enthusiastic about their experience at T.T.T. Camp.
