Chapter Iowa J, Wayland, T.T.T. Society meets

Chapter Iowa J, Wayland, of the National T.T.T. Society met Monday evening, Oct. 6, 2014, at 7 p.m., at the Wayland Community Center. President Lori Messer called the meeting to order.

Recording secretary Georgia Fort took roll with 15 members present. Minutes of the Sept. 1 meeting were approved as read.

Willa Wilson gave the treasurer?s report. Fort had received information from the National Office regarding T-shirts and designs.

Elected officers for the 2014-2015 year are:

• Lori Messer, president

• Cindy Seberg, vice-president

• Georgia Fort, recording secretary

• Ann Wilson, treasurer,

• Joni Huisenga, corresponding Secretary

• Susan Mast, historian

A motion carried unanimously to change the meeting night for Iowa J to the fourth Tuesday night of the month, beginning with the November meeting.

Barbara Donkersloot was congratulated on her retirement after 39 years of teaching.

Diann Miller, past Iowa State T.T.T. President and chapter member installed the officers for the new year.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m., on Nov. 25, at the Community Room.

The meeting adjourned with the closing creed and a social time was enjoyed with treats being served by the officers.
