Chapter J, P.E.O., met in the lounge of the United Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m. Thirteen members and five guests enjoyed Rosemary Harris?s portrayal of Mamie Eisenhower. ?Mamie? treated all by sharing her famous fudge. Marie Dare and Betty Colby were the hostesses assisted by three of Marde McConnell?s granddaughters.

Chapter J, P.E.O., met in the lounge of the United Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m. Thirteen members and five guests enjoyed Rosemary Harris?s portrayal of Mamie Eisenhower. ?Mamie? treated all by sharing her famous fudge. Marie Dare and Betty Colby were the hostesses assisted by three of Marde McConnell?s granddaughters.
Lynn Loula conducted the business meeting and gave a report of the June State P.E.O. Convention. Discussion was held concerning the July 25, 1:15 p.m. Guest Bridge Party, proceeds going to P.E.O. projects. Reservations need to be to Betty Eden by July 23. There is a fee of $5 per participant.
A trip is planned to tour the International P.E.O. Office in Des Moines, Aug. 7. Mary Carol Fish is the trip coordinator.
The June program at the Grace Hill Moravian Church was canceled due to a rain storm.
