Chapter J, P.E.O. met March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Campbell of the United Presbyterian Home. Addy Sents and Maxine Martin were co-hostesses.

Chapter J, P.E.O. met March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Campbell of the United Presbyterian Home. Addy Sents and Maxine Martin were co-hostesses.
Marde McConnell presided as president and opened the meeting in due form. Betty Colby served as chaplain and read Scripture from Matthew 16:21-23 followed by prayer. Bette Turnipseed served as treasurer. Eleven members responded to roll call. Lynn Loula presented the slate of officers.
Marde McConnell and Debbie Leith recently attended a planning meeting for the 2015 State P.E.O. meeting. Chapter J is one of the chapters responsible for music.
Election of officers was held. Those elected were: Lynn Loula, vice president; Carol Winga, chaplain; Maxine Martin, recording secretary; Debbie Leith, treasurer; and Jo Ross,corresponding secretary. Two offices are yet to be filled.
Erin Drahoda, assistant director of the UP Home, gave a program on the history and the plans for the future of the home.
