Chapter J, P.E.O.

On Nov. 6, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Chapter J, P.E.O., met in the home of Debbie Leith, with Tori Lumberg as co-hostess.

President Sara Bartlett conducted the business meeting. Chaplain Carol Winga's Thanksgiving devotions were verses from Psalms 136 and Psalms 100 followed by prayer.

Sixteen members answered roll call.

Star Scholarship chair Janine Rosien gave a report on the application sent for the candidate Chapter J is sponsoring for that award.

Sara Bartlett reported on plans being made for the State P.E.O. convention. Chapter J is one of the hostess chapters for that event.

Dec. 4, chapter J will meet in the Immanuel Lutheran church at 6:30. p.m.

Prior to the business meeting a time of remembrance was conducted by Marde McConnell, Carol Winga, Betty Eden and Maxine Martin for deceased members Helen Barker and Bette Turnipseed.

The program was a time of members sharing memories of unusual events that happened while traveling, some funny, some not so funny.
