Chapter L of National T.T.T. Society meets
CRAWFORDSVILLE NEWS

Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met Monday, June 28, 2023 at the Olds United Church of Christ at 7 p.m. The meeting opened with the singing of Sword of Gold.
Preceding the meeting the camp girls came with a parent. They shared their Camp Wyoming experiences with the group. Alice's upcoming birthday was celebrated with cake and ice cream provided by Barb Shelman.
Roll Call: Seven members and four guests answered with " What is your favorite food or place to eat ".
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the minutes of the May meeting and they were approved as read.
Correspondence: Emblems that had belonged to Dorothy Lauer were handed over that had been returned by her daughter-in-law, Rose Lauer.
Treasurer's Report: It was submitted by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Camp: Nancy McGohan and President Shelman reported on picking up the two campers following camp.
Charity: Nothing
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford reported on the sales percentage received from Pizza Ranch. Lunch at Addington Place in Mt. Pleasant is scheduled for November 16 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m). Community members are encouraged to come out and support this cause by purchasing a meal. Other fundraising opportunities have been checked into in Mt. Pleasant and details were shared on that and they will be scheduled.
New Business: More stamps will be ordered and Sunrise Terrace in Winfield is being contacted so the group's July meeting can be held there.
Old Business, Bills for Payment and Proposal of Names for Membership: None.
ADJOURNMENT: President Shelman thanked those who had attended. The next meeting will be Monday, July 24, 2023. Everyone was asked to meet at 6:15 p.m. at Olds and carpool to Sunrise Terrace. Missy Fear will be hostess.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1 through Friday, August 4 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the United Church of Crawfordsville. This will be for the Ainsworth Community Church and the United Church of Crawfordsville.
The theme this year is a Farm theme, teaching younger generations about "The Fruits of the Spirit". Friday night will be Family Fun Night. The program will be held on Sunday morning , August 6 during 9 a.m. Worship.
Carman Davis is the chairman and organizer. Please let her know if you are interested in helping.
