Chapter L of T.T.T. meets

Baby Boy:
Tyler and Maggie Robertson of Mt. Pleasant are the proud parents of a son, Noah Dean Robertson born Saturday, April 23, 2022. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 0z. and was 20 inches long. He was welcomed home by a sister, Kinsley, two and a half years old.
Grandparents are Sonya Love-Smith of Keosauqua; Clyde Smith of Washington and John and Amber Robertson of Mt. Pleasant.
Great-Grandparents are Carolyn Love, and Larry and Nancy Love, all of Crawfordsville; Thomas and Joann Robertson of Burlington and Jerry and Patty Phillips of Mt. Pleasant and Great-great grandmothers are Joann Love of Washington and Dorothy Garmoe of Mt. Pleasant.
T.T.T. News
Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society met on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the United Church of Crawfordsville. The meeting opened with the singing of the Sword of Gold.
Roll Call: Seven members answered roll call with "Are you a morning or night person?"
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the March 28, 2022 minutes and they were approved as read.
Correspondence: President Shelman read a letter from a member withdrawing her membership.
TheTreasurer's report was given by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Camp: Nancy McGohan met with the camp girls and completed the forms for the upcoming season.
Charity: Nothing.
Camp Girls Gifts: Pat Miller reported that two birthday cards had been sent.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford reported on the Pizza Ranch fundraiser.
UNFINISHED/OLDBUSINESS: President Shelman reported on the convention that took place April 22 and 23. One of the highlights was the recognition given to Louise Unkrich on her 75th year as a member. Shelman was co-chair of the convention and kept very busy and made sure everything ran smoothly. Karolyn Crawford and Nancy McGohan assisted with hospitality.
NEW BUSINESS: None
BILLS FOR PAYMENT: President Shelman presented a bill for her gavel pin and corsage. It was approved.
PROPOSAL OF NAMES FOR MEMBERSHIP: None
ADJOURNMENT:
President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. Missy Fear will be the hostess and the camp shower will be held for the girls.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
Following the meeting a variety of refreshments was provided by Pat Miller and President Shelman.
Larry and Donna Fletcher attended the graduation of their granddaughter, Emma Fletcher on Friday, April 9, 2022 from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines. She received an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Emma graduated with High Honors and received a Clinical Award.
She is the daughter of Brad and Carol Fletcher of Cedar Falls.
Others attending were Ryleigh Reed of Hudson, Pam Green of Washington, her grandmother, Alice Trees of Winfield, Brian and Carla Haymond of Winfield and Brennan Haymond of Des Moines.
Emma will be working in Independence.
