Chapter L of T.T.T. meets in Olds
CRAWFORDSVILLE NEWS

Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society met Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of Sword of Gold.
Roll Call: Seven members answered roll call with "What is your favorite Valentine candy?"
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the Oct. 24, 2022 and November 29, 2022 minutes which were approved as read.
Correspondence:
President Shelman reported some highlights from the Tidings publication:
1. Seven members in Iowa have passed in the last year and there were 25 new initiates.
2. Barb Brown's letter was shared on her thoughts when she interacted with past campers.
3. North Central has an opening for two individuals to co-chair the camp position.
Treasurer's report: given by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
The 2023 Program Schedule was distributed.
Camp: Discussion on possible campers took place.
Charity: Missy Fear will send Easter gift cards to past camp girls.
Camp Girls' Gifts: Pat Miller sent camp Christmas cards/gifts.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford has scheduled tip night at the Pizza Ranch in Washington for March 13 and Mt. Pleasant on May 8. Joan Rodgers and Karolyn have scheduled the fundraising lunch at Addington Place in Mt. Pleasant for July 20. Area communities are encouraged to come out and support this cause by participating in the events.
New Business: The 75th State T.T.T. Convention will be April 21 and 22 in Riverside. President Shelman and Nancy McGohan will be delegates.

President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. at the Old United Church of Christ. Karolyn Crawford will be hostess.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
Following adjournment, dessert was provided by Missy Fear.
LAKE DARLING SADDLE CLUB
The Lake Darling Saddle Club end of the year (2022) awards was held Sunday in Brighton and Zoey Dennler was top scorer in the classes of Open Trail, Youth Walk Trot, Open Pony Pleasure, Youth Poles and Youth Barrels to which led to her being High Point Youth. She was also playing in a Volleyball Tournament the same day. Her team took second in the tournament . She plays with the Spirit Volleyball program out of Burlington. She is a very versatile and busy young lady and very talented. Zoey is the daughter of Darren and Karen Dennler of Crawfordsville.
SPAGHETTI SUPPER
A reminder that the Crawfordsville Community Club is having a Spaghetti supper on Saturday, March 11 at the Fire Station from 4-7 p.m. Drinks and desserts will be provided. This is a free-will offering. Dine-in or Carry-Out.
