Chapter L of T.T.T. meets in Olds

Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024 at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of the Sword of Gold.
Roll Call: Six members answered with "What do you like best about fall?"
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the September 2024 minutes which were approved as read.
Correspondence: Missy Fear reported that all dues have been paid and shared notes received from two members.
Treasurer's Report: Was submitted by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Auditing: Karolyn Crawford and Marlys Fear audited the books and found them to be in good order.
Camp and Charity: Nothing to report.
Camp Girls' Gifts: Missy will send the Holiday Gifts to them.
Ways and Means: President Shelman shared information on the upcoming Zoom meeting ( October 29) pertaining to applying for a grant from a chain store.
New Business: The schedule for the upcoming year (2025) was passed for members to fill out. The Santa Shop at WACO was a topic brought up.
Old Business: President Shelman printed off and shared the survey questions that the Chapter's campers were asked. Discussion was held on the upcoming game night with the Wayland Chapter.
Bills For Payment and Proposal of NAMES FOR MEMBERSHIP: None.
The Installation of Officers took place following the business meeting, They are as follows:
President: Barb Shelman; Vice President: Joan Rodgers; Recording
Secretary: Nancy McGohan; Treasurer: Missy Fear; Corresponding
Secretary: Marlys Fear; Historian: Karolyn Crawford and Camp Girls
Gifts: Pat Miller.
President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 18 with the Wayland Chapter. A carpool will leave from the church. An ice cream layered dessert was served by Joan Rodgers, hostess.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
CROOKED CREEK CHRISTIAN CAMP

Harvest Supper and Auction
The United Church of Crawfordsville will be holding their annual Harvest Supper and Auction on Saturday, Nov. 16. Supper will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Creamed Chicken and Biscuits, Beef Burgers and Homemade Desserts, all for a free-will offering. Dine in or carry out.
