CHAPTER L T.T.T.
Seven members of Chapter L T.T.T. met on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022 at the Wayland Community Center. Following a brief meeting the group joined the Wayland Chapter for a night of games and snacks.
WHITE CLOUD CLUB
White Cloud Club members gathered at the home of Jolene Colthurst in Washington on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. for their annual Christmas party. The festivities began by enjoying a delicious meal prepared by the hostess. The table was elaborately set with Christmas place settings and a beautiful holiday centerpiece. Members leisurely enjoyed their meal before adjourning to the living room which highlighted an elegantly decorated flocked Christmas tree.
President Jolene opened the monthly meeting with a reading "Christmas Joy" from her collection of Ideal magazines. Betty led the group through Roll Call by asking "What color is your Christmas tree?" There were many varieties of answers. She also gave the Secretary/Treasurer minutes of the November meeting and they were approved as read. There were no bills. Old Business: None. New Business: A discussion was held as to the location of the February meeting, since there isn't a January meeting.
Time and place to be determined. Upcoming community events were discussed and Margaret invited everyone to consider attending the Potluck Supper at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. with in-house caroling to follow. A birthday gift was presented to Betty from her Mystery Sister. A time of sharing Christmas gifts followed with each member receiving a gift from attending members.
Delicious dessert was enjoyed along with updates on those unable to attend. Cards were signed to send to those not present.
Each member shared platters of cookies and created a mixture of cookies to take home. Christmas greetings were exchanged as members departed. Again, there is no January meeting and the time and place of the February 2023 meeting will be announced later.
Those attending were Betty Lintz, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson, Virginia Sands and the hostess.
Everyone thanked Jolene for opening up her beautifully decorated home to them and for the wonderful meal she prepared. Christmas wishes were extended to everyone as they left.
