Chapter L of TTT plan next meeting June 24

Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of the Sword of Gold.
Roll Call: Eight members answered roll call with "What is your favorite flower?" Four guests, consisting of two camp girls, along with a family member were present prior to the meeting. The "Camp Shower" was held and the girls opened their camping items and interacted with chapter members. The activity of the night was decorating their hats they will be wearing at camp, which will take place in just five days.
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the April 2024 minutes, which were approved as read.
Correspondence:
Marlys Fear shared a card thanking the chapter for the memorial in memory of the late Louise Unkrich and a card from a past camper for her graduation gift.
President Shelman read an invitation from the Mt. Pleasant Chapter about their Founder's Day celebration, which was June 4. From the Tidings, a few highlights were how Two Rivers donated to the state chapter for the 3rd time. A bookmark will be added to the new member packet and this chapter was mentioned under the Violet awards.
President Shelman also shared from the National Board their recent work on "Doing Business As" (DBA)
Treasurer's report was given by Missy Fear.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Camp: President Shelman and Nancy McGohan took the girls shopping this month and out for supper at Pizza Ranch. They will leave June 2 and return June 7. Thank you to all who helped to wash bedding/clothes and stayed after the meeting to pack suitcases.
Camp Girls' Gifts: Pat Miller reported she sent one birthday card in April and three in May, as well as three graduation cards.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford reported on tip night at Washington Pizza Ranch on April 29.
OLD BUSINESS: President Shelman will contact Wayland Chapter in regards to items given to them from the disbanded Washington Chapter.
NEW BUSINESS: None
BILLS FOR PAYMENT: Pat Miller presented one for cards and gift cards. Nancy McGohan also had one for items pertaining to the camp girls as well as their clothing/supplies. Marlys Fear made a motion to allow the bills and Missy Fear seconded the motion, which passed.
PROPOSAL OF NAMES FOR MEMBERSHIP: None
ADJOURNMENT:
President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, June 24 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. Nancy McGohan will be hostess.
The meeting adjourned with brownies, ice cream bars and nuts provided by Missy Fear.
WHITE CLOUD CLUB
Five members of the White Cloud Club met at the Frontier Restaurant in Washington for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
President Betty Lintz opened the meeting with funny sayings from famous people.
Roll call was answered with "a favorite room in your house".
Attending were Diane Johnston, Betty Lintz, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson and Virginia Sands.
The next meeting will be lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 with Margaret Patterson as hostess with the place yet to be decided on.
