Charles Doug Curtis, 58, of Winfield, died on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at his home.
The family will meet friends on Friday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Honts Funeral Home, in Winfield, with a funeral ceremony to follow at 7 p.m. The cremation burial will take place at a later time at the Crawfordsville Cemetery.

Charles Doug Curtis, 58, of Winfield, died on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at his home.

Curtis was born on March 9, 1958, the son of Charles Claire and Dorothy Walten Curtis, in Washington. He graduated from WACO High School. He married Barb Groom.
He worked at Crane Foundry for 20 years, and then at Tyson Foods for five years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, and driving and building demo cars.
Curtis is survived by his father; two sons, Charles Shane (Tiffany) Curtis, of Salem; and Dusty Curtis, of Homestead; four grandchildren; a brother, Rodney (Vicki) Curtis; and a sister, Terry (Danny) Todd.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy.
