Chef Curtis at farmers? market

Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store Chef Curtis Goudy will be conducting a live cooking demonstration at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Farfield Farmers? Market in Howard Park.

Chef Curtis will make use of seasonal produce to highlight the flavors, colors and textures that are currently available. He will suggest choice meats to pair with farmers? market produce selections.

The Fairfield Farmers? Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and 3-6 p.m. Wednesdays through the end of October at Howard Park.

Featuring locally grown fruits and vegetables, homemade goods, unique artisan crafts, professional musicians and an outdoor community gathering space, the Fairfield Farmers? Market is a feast for the senses.

Local gardeners and farmers come from Packwood, Douds, Milton, Keosauqua and more to present produce, flowers, plants, jams and jellies and lots more.
