Child Study Team receives Educational Partners Award

Grant Wood AEA recently held the annual Staff Recognition and Partnerships Banquet (Thursday, May 8) in Cedar Rapids. The Washington Community School District received an Educational Partner Award for its Child Study Team.

This was the 25th year for the awards ceremony. It is a way for Grant Wood AEA to show appreciation for local schools and citizens who provide exemplary educational leadership for children and who demonstrate a partnering attitude in all they do. Honorees are nominated and chosen by agency staff. Grant Wood AEA provides educational services for 32 public school districts and 22 approved nonpublic schools in Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Washington counties.
