The Fairfield Art Association?s regular Thursday morning Young Artist Mentor Class with Kella J. will be hosting a follow up and sharing activity with other young artists at the Fairfield Farmers? Market Saturday at Howard Park.
The activity ties into the market?s food theme for the day, one of which is making sauerkraut.
The art association?s Young Artist Mentor Class has explored design motif of the Pennsylvania Germans, along with the usage of fraktur, a style of decorative calligraphy named after a 16th-century German typeface.
July 28, the class will attend the farmers market and present an art activity around the theme of rhythm and music integrated with a visual art form using feet.
