Choir from Uganda performs at Immanuel Lutheran Church
Immanuel Lutheran Church hosted the Watoto Choir from Uganda, Africa, Thursday and Friday. The children and at least one of the adults were abandoned by a parent or lost one or both parents. They shared their musical talents and personal stories during a performance Thursday night.
The choir stayed overnight with families of the church. They stayed in Washington Friday morning to catch up on their schoolwork.
