Alecia Chrisman and Chase Strickland were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at United Methodist Church in Wapello.
The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Pam Kranzler.

Alecia Chrisman and Chase Strickland were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at United Methodist Church in Wapello.
The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Pam Kranzler.
The bride is the daughter of Rachelle Angstead of Chillicothe, Mo., and Mark Chrisman of Kirksville, Mo., the granddaughter of Sherry and Jerry Ehrhardt and Kenny and Patsy Angstead, and the great-granddaughter of Don Angstead and Maxine Avery and the late Vera and LeRoy Whitmore. She studied marketing and graphic design at St. Ambrose University and is employed at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine.
The groom is the son of Denzil and Nerea Strickland of Wapello. He is employed at Heinz in Muscatine.
The wedding included a unity sand ceremony, a meaningful symbolic joining of two lives, in which the couple ceremoniously pours various colors of sand from separate containers into one special container, the unity vase, symbolizing their coming together as one.
The bride carried a bouquet made by her aunt Cindi Fountain.
Katelyn Chrisman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Julia Strickland was flower girl, and Brody Angstead was ringbearer.
The groom?s father was best man.
The couple makes their home in Wapello.
