Christian Church shows live nativity Nov. 23

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is hosting a live nativity from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 23, at the church located across South Main Street from Jefferson County Health Center.

?Journey out to the see the nativity come to life in our gazebo,? invites the congregation. ?Hear a narration of the Christmas story while listening to music and view Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus along with angels, shepherds and live animals.?

The live nativity coincides with Fairfield?s Central Park Lighting ceremony and the Lions Club soup supper at the senior center Friday evening after Thanksgiving.

The church also will have cookies, hot cocoa and coffee available indoors for a time of fellowship accompanied by live piano playing of Christmas carols.
