Faith Methodist hosts soup supper
LIBERTYVILLE ? Following the 5:30 p.m. Saturday lighting of Libertyville?s Christmas tree in City Park, Faith United Methodist Church will host a potluck soup supper, children?s movie, visits with Santa and decking of the church.
A Hanging of the Greens service will take place during the 8:15 a.m. worship Sunday.

Faith Methodist hosts soup supper
LIBERTYVILLE ? Following the 5:30 p.m. Saturday lighting of Libertyville?s Christmas tree in City Park, Faith United Methodist Church will host a potluck soup supper, children?s movie, visits with Santa and decking of the church.
A Hanging of the Greens service will take place during the 8:15 a.m. worship Sunday.
Stockport church activities set
STOCKPORT ? The Stockport United Methodist Church members will be decking the church following its 11 a.m. worship Sunday.
The ad board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
B.A.T.T.L.E. will practice its Christmas program at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The program will be presented during Christmas in the Village celebrations from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Stockport American Legion Hall.
The celebration also will include a a wreath auction and soup supper, with proceeds going to B.A.T.T.L.E.
Birmingham church sets events
BIRMINGHAM ? The Birmingham United Methodist Church will have a bake sale and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Church members will be decking the church during the sale.
The Rebekah Circle will have its Christmas party and gift exchnge at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Those attending should being a gift to exchange, Christmas goodies to share and a food item for the Snacks in a Sack program.
Gamma Circle meeting Thursday
The Gamma Circle of First Presbyterian Church will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at The Oaks of Packview Care Center.
The hostess will be Anne Roth, and the co-hostess will be Sandy Gillaspie.
Shirley McCracken will have the devotions and program.
