The United Church of Crawfordsville is now collecting items for the Ingathering kits for the Ingathering to be held Nov. 6 in Mt. Pleasant. There are Personal Dignity Kits, which contain bath towels, bath washcloths, adult toothbrushes, bar soap, shampoo, and deodorant.
The Student Kits contain notebooks, rulers, pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser, colored pencils, crayons and student scissors. A list of exact item specifications may be picked up in the narthex in the back of the church. Check the lists carefully to see that you have purchased the correct item, size and number. Pat Miller is putting together these kits. Monetary donations will also be accepted and may be given to Pat.
The Peoples Savings Bank at both Crawfordsville and Wayland are collecting any gently used WACO Warrior school apparel to be donated to students who might not have such items to be worn to school to participate in WACO Blue Thursdays. Items may be dropped off at either Bank and they will be given to families in our community.
