Church of God to host Christ's Birthday Banquet

It's Christmas time. Come and celebrate Christmas at Christ's Birthday Banquet.

The Washington Church of God will host its annual Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings beginning at noon on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. It is open to the public and everyone is invited to come and celebrate the special day with the people of the church. The church is located at 322 S. Ave. D. There is no charge for the meal, as this is the church's Christmas gift made open to all who will take part of it.

Carryout dinners will be provided to those who would like Christmas Dinner,k but are not able to come to the church. The congregation wants everyone to have a blessed Christmas.

Reservations would be appreciated, but people who don't make a reservation are welcome to come anyway. Reservations may be made as well as arrangements for carryout meals by calling one of the following numbers: 319-653-5678, 319-653-2946, 319-694-5420 or 319-461-5148. If an answering machine answers, be sure to leave a phone number, address and how many meals you need.
