City administrator Flanagan resigns
The Fairfield City Council accepted the resignation of city administrator Kevin Flanagan after its closed session Wednesday.
Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy said the terms of the resignation, such as Flanagan?s final day and his severance pay, will be decided at Monday?s council meeting.

The Fairfield City Council accepted the resignation of city administrator Kevin Flanagan after its closed session Wednesday.
Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy said the terms of the resignation, such as Flanagan?s final day and his severance pay, will be decided at Monday?s council meeting.
?We took time to review [Flanagan?s] personnel evaluation,? Malloy said. ?We had a conversation about his performance. In the end, we mutually agreed on resignation.?
Flanagan declined to comment when contacted by The Ledger.
Monday?s council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at city hall.
