City of Lockridge to hold local Veteran?s Day celebration
On Saturday, Nov. 7, the City of Lockridge will be hosting a brief Veteran?s Day celebration.
Starting at 7:45 a.m., the Honor Guard will march from the Lockridge Community Center to the cemetery, followed by a flag raising ceremony at 8 a.m.
After a rifle team fires a volley of rounds and Taps is played, crowds will be dismissed from the cemetery and return to the Community Center for a time of fellowship.

At 8:45 a.m., at the Lockridge Community Center, a Veteran?s Day program will be held with a POW/MIA recognition, guest speakers, posting of flags and more.
