Class of 1948 reunion held
The Wayland High School Class of '48 held their 68th Class Reunion at Sassys Café (Wayland) on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 am.
The table centerpiece had a bouquet of nine roses in memory of those who have died and a color picture of last years class reunion. After the meal, there was a Wayland Trivia game from the '40's which brought much discussion.

The Wayland High School Class of '48 held their 68th Class Reunion at Sassys Café (Wayland) on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 am.
The table centerpiece had a bouquet of nine roses in memory of those who have died and a color picture of last years class reunion. After the meal, there was a Wayland Trivia game from the '40's which brought much discussion.
A health report of those not in attendance, namely Delores Abernathy, Anna Mae Roth and Donn Umphrey, was given by Pauline.
The meeting was closed with a humorous poem read by Phyllis. "You Know You're Getting Older When...".
Next years reunion was discussed and plans are pending. There were two guests present. The committee in charge was Phyllis Graber and Pauline Wyse.
