Class of '51 gets together
Ten members of the Class of 1951 of Wayland met at Sassy?s Restaurant in Wayland on June 20. Albert Rich and his wife were in charge of the meeting. Decorations on the table were miniature farm machinery that Albert had collected.
After the meal, the group toured Larry Roth?s museum in the Old Omer Roth building on the Main Street of Wayland. He had a lot of antiques that brought back memories.

Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rich of Mount Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bain of Iowa City, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wylie of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jacobs of Swisher, Mr. and Mrs. Einer Stoltzfus of Kalona, Mr. and Mrs. David Reschley of Ohio, Lavonne McGuire of Illinois, Erma Alliman of Wayland, Mary Ellen Saforek of Washington, and Gene Story of Cedar Rapids.
Unable to attend were Mahlon Leichty, Gary Meyers, Wes Widmer and Grace ?Ruby? Askam.
