CLELEBRATIONS: Swihart celebrated 99th birthday

Clara Swihart of Batavia turned 99 years old on Feb. 19, and celebrated the event March 17.
Helping her to celebrate were her children Joyce Perkins and Larry Wilson of Batavia, Bill Shields of Fairfield and Teena Roush of Newton, along with Brooklyn and Harleigh Keasling also of Batavia. The group sang 'Happy Birthday” and ate ice cream and cake.
Mrs. Swihart has lived in Batavia since 1980.
