Clover Kids; Jefferson County Retired School Personnel

CLOVER KIDS

The Jefferson County Fairfield 4-H Clover Kids met 5:15-6:15 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.

To celebrate St. Patrick?s Day, 11 members participated making a rainbow steamers crafts to enjoy inside or outside. The group had Hula Hoop relays and played Leprechaun in the Middle.

Green milk and charm cereal was served for a snack.

Helping with the activities were Heather Pickard, Karen Crossland, Sophia Mineart and Isabella Beltramea.

The leaders remind Clover Kids and their parens of the ?Up for the Challenge? day camp for kindergarten through third-grade students set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 26 at the Jefferson County ISU Extension Office. The cost is $10. Call 472-4166 to reserve a spot.

During the day camp, children will make healthy snacks, start vegetable seedlings to grow at home, create a cookbook with the recipes they made that day, find heartbeat and figure heart rates and more.

The next meeting will be April 10 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.

JEFFERSON COUNTY RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL

Jefferson County Retired School Personnel will meet at 12:15 p.m. March 26 at SunnyBrook Assisted Living.

Hostesses are chairwoman Marilyn Fenton, Becky Peters and Marj Marine.

Jefferson County Naturalist Therese Cummiskey will give a program about Jefferson County Park.
