Clover Kids pets

Washington County Clover Kids and their pets made an appearance at the fair on July 20, following the 4-H Pet Show. Washington County Clover Kids had the opportunity to learn more about the pet project through a program which includes their own County Fair Pet Class.

During the Washington County Fair pet show, the Clover Kids had the opportunity to show one of their pets. Before the show, the Clover Kids completed pet journals describing how they care for their pet. During the show, the Clover Kids interviewed with a judge and showed off their pet to the crowd. The Clover Kid Pet Show is a great chance for youth to increase their responsibilities in caring for their pets at home.

Clover Kid participants included: Sydney Williams, William McWhirter, Lauren McWhirter, Reese Herteen, Mason Schneider, Lindsey Schneider, Adlei Marek, Jack Green, Blaine Duwa, Jacob Pacha, Aaden Tadlock, Hadley Leichty, Ethan Loeffler, Freedom Mayberry, Grace Taylor, Kooper Barnes, Jackson Rodgers, and Kassidi Marek.
