The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., Sept. 28, at Conger House in Washington. Five members attended. Ferd Marie was presiding officer. It was reported that the storm windows for Conger House had been installed. The last date for viewing the World War I exhibit for this year will be on Sunday, Oct. 15. The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., Sept. 28, at Conger House in Washington. Five members attended. Ferd Marie was presiding officer. It was reported that the storm windows for Conger House had been installed. The last date for viewing the World War I exhibit for this year will be on Sunday, Oct. 15. The exhibit will be continued for 2018. The Historical Society is sponsoring a talk by Malory Daniel, at 10 a.m., Nov. 4, in the Washington Public Library. She will speak on her relative, Agnes Swift, a Red Cross nurse in World War I.
The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m., Oct. 26, at Conger House.
