Club News

Maxine Klopfenstein was hostess to 10 members and her daughter-in-law as a guest for the Sept. 15 meeting of Tuesday Coffee Club. The group traveled to Wapello to enjoy fish for lunch at Johnnie B?s Restaurant. A quick stop on the way home for ice cream topped off the day with Dorothy Weber treating them.

Judy Donaldson presented a card for members to sign a missing member unable to join them due to some health problems. The group sent their best wishes and let this member know the group missed her. A card from The Library was shared with the group thanking them for the donation of two new books donated in honor of Joyce Taylor, a former member for many years. ?The Photograph" and "On The Trail of the Truth," both very enjoyable reading.

The next meeting will be lunch at The Applewood Bistro at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, with Bess Llewellyn as our hostess.
