The Central Park Community Center held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10, with eight members present. President Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting were read by secretary Nancy Kimmel and were approved. The treasurer's report was read by treasurer Barb Nelson. The Central Park Community Center held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10, with eight members present. President Max Cousins conducted the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting were read by secretary Nancy Kimmel and were approved. The treasurer?s report was read by treasurer Barb Nelson. It was reported that bingo was doing well and a jackpot had recently been won. A donation was given to the Center. It was suggested, and approved, to buy a printer, with money given to the Center from a memorial from the family of Elsie Dockendorf. The Center is rented for Oct. 15. SHARE Iowa will be at the Center from 9 to 10 a.m., Oct. 21. The Center will be open on Halloween to hand out candy. The Center will have a pancake and sausage fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 15.
