Chapter MX, P.E.O., met Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Halcyon House. Thirteen members were present. Chaplain Kathleen Almelien gave devotions. President Jane Cuddeback conducted the business meeting. Treasurer Barbara Liebe gave the financial report. She reminded the chapter that she will start collecting dues. Corresponding Secretary Rebecca Widmer read the correspondence. The chapter was happy to learn that its candidate for an Educational Loan had been approved. The chapter voted to send funds to a project of members? choice. After discussion, the general consensus of the chapter was to help prepare a meal for Saturday Kitchen. Several members shared recent accomplishments and contributed to the Brag Box. Kathleen Hunt presented a Christmas program. Chapter MX will have a social meeting Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. at the Kalona Historical Village.
