Club News

Chapter OC celebrated its birthday Thursday evening, April 6, at Dodici Coffee Shop. Hostess Isabella Santoro was assisted by co-hostess Jana Dawson, and a Founder?s Day program video was presented by Linda Soukup.

The club was notified of the approval of a $15,000 Educational Loan for a worthy candidate, and members voted to assist another applicant for the Sarah Porter Beckwith Friendship Fund.

Preceding the meeting, several members ?Skyped? with the Partners in Peace scholar, Sarah Eleraby, who is doing medical research at Johns Hopkins. Sarah is from Egypt and grateful for the P.E.O. support, financially and emotionally.

A social is scheduled April 27, from 7 - 9 p.m. , at the library. May baskets will be made with the leadership of Deb Jewell. Bring a snack to enjoy.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for 7:30, May 11, at the cabin of Leisha Linge. Virginia Tschantz is the co-hostess, and Kate Glinsmann.
