Club News

Sasha Club members met at the Washington United Presbyterian Home to tour its new Wellness Center. The new area includes an indoor walking track, therapy pool, plus cardio and strengthening equipment. They offer membership options and personal training sessions. The tour included the new private patient rooms for the Health Unit with its own dining and lounge area. After this tour, the group traveled to the Ainsworth Community Church for the business meeting.

Discussion was held regarding the Sacha Club Craft Show held on Nov. 4, at the Highland Middle School Gym. This was a new location. There were 29 vendors. Ideas were shared about ways to improve advertising, and signage.

Correspondence was received from WCDC requesting support for their annual Christmas event. It was decided to make a donation. Pam Holtz from the Washington Conservation Center sent a note of thanks for providing the cookies at the Halloween Hike at Marr Park.

The Dec. 18 meeting will be held at the home of Jolene Colthurst. This is the annual Christmas Party and gift exchange.
