Chapter MX, P.E.O. met May 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of Helen Slechta. Twelve members were in attendance. President Karen Bates Chabal conducted the business meeting. Updates were given on the chapter's ELF candidate. It was announced that Meredith Raber will receive a P.E.O. STAR Scholarship. Chapter MX, P.E.O. met May 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of Helen Slechta. Twelve members were in attendance. President Karen Bates Chabal conducted the business meeting. Updates were given on the chapter?s ELF candidate. It was announced that Meredith Raber will receive a P.E.O. STAR Scholarship. Plans were finalized for the chapter?s participation in Saturday Kitchen on May 12. Jane Cuddeback had sent a care package to a Cottey College student. Kathleen Almelien and Shirley Pfeifer had attended Chapter CX?s 20th annual salad luncheon in Columbus Junction. Several members shared recent events and contributed to the Brag Box. The next meeting will be June 4, at 7 p.m., at the home of Kathy Hunt. They will have a reception honoring our ELF candidate, who recently completed her Master?s degree.
