Tuesday Coffee Club members met on July 5 at the Central Park Center. Charlotte Magdefrau was the hostess.
Eleven members and one guest attended. Denise Buttons was the guest speaker and told of her and her husband?s life as a military family. They have recently moved from Colorado to the Roe Heating Building in Washington. With much interest the members learned of the refinished building becoming their home and also of a ground floor apartment being occupied. Many months of hard labor and long hours have been spent to make two lovely homes out of the Roe Building. Members welcomed Ms. Buttons to Washington and are glad to see that the building has been put to good use.
Delicious refreshments were served by Charlotte Magdefrau with the July 4 theme carried out.
One of the group?s very special members, Maxine Klopfenstein recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. Many grandchildren and great grand-children joined their parents and Maxine with many of her friends for the celebration. What a great party and honor to Maxine. She expressed her thanks for all the cards, flowers and friends who joined her for the celebration.
The next meeting will be a 9:30 a.m. breakfast at the Frontier Restaurant with Judy Donaldson as hostess.
