Post 29 American Legion met in regular session with Wayne Kaufman commanding. Ted Griffith passed away since the last meeting. Reports were heard from Adjutant Jim Peterson on finances and membership and Mike

Worley, service officer on recent funerals. Lonny Milligan, fundraising chair presented ideas on future activities in which funds could be raised to support the various programs as well as assisting needy veterans and their families. Several members volunteered for duty manning a booth at the fair next week.

New officers for the year were installed by Bob Kennedy and they are: Commander, Mike York, Vice Commander, Matt Dohlman, Adjutant, Jim Peterson, Service Officer, Mike Worley, Sargeant-at-Arms, Tom Kerr, and Chaplain, Gene Carpenter.

Veterans of the area are welcome as guests at the Blair house each second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
