The Central Park Community Center held their monthly meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 6, with nine members present. The meeting was conducted by President Max Cousins. Minutes of the last meeting and treasurer?s report were read and approved. There was no bingo in September. The Central Park Community Center held their monthly meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 6, with nine members present. The meeting was conducted by President Max Cousins. Minutes of the last meeting and treasurer?s report were read and approved. There was no bingo in September. On Tuesday, Sept. 20, the Center will be used from noon until 8 p.m. as a polling place for a special election for a city councilman. SHARE Iowa will be at the Center from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24.
A board member went to Midwest Old Threshers Reunion in Mount Pleasant and saw the following message on the back of a woman?s T-shirt: ?John Deere I?m leaving you, in Case you don?t know why, it?s because my cousin Oliver told me you were messing around with Allis Chalmer. I can?t believe I thought you were on the Farmall this time.?
