Southeast Iowa Button Club met May 19, 2016, at the Keota Library. Members answered roll call by telling or showing their favorite flower button. Georgia Conrad read the secretary's report. Cards of get well and thanks were written to members not present. Sharon Hahn gave the treasurer?s report.

Sandy Weller reminded us that the state convention will be June 16-18 in Marshalltown at the Best Western. It is open to the public. She gave us flyers about the convention to distribute in our area.

New business was discussed. Next meeting will be in Albia on June 23, with Linda Hiatt as hostess.

Our program was opened by Linda Beatty on the criteria to look for in entering cards for state show. Sandy gave a summary on Thru the Button Hole by Harriet Burkheimer on how to collect buttons. Sharon, Norma and Linda Beatty discussed their cards of moonglows and informed us of their opinions regarding judging.
