The regular meeting of the Horse and Pony Club was held on Oct. 21 at the extension office. There were 12 members and eight guests present.
Announcements in the meeting included a thank-you card for the members who helped at the turkey booth for the Kalona Fall Festival. A workday at the fairgrounds for the horse barn and record books were handed out.

The regular meeting of the Horse and Pony Club was held on Oct. 21 at the extension office. There were 12 members and eight guests present.
Announcements in the meeting included a thank-you card for the members who helped at the turkey booth for the Kalona Fall Festival. A workday at the fairgrounds for the horse barn and record books were handed out.
New business included 4-H re-enrollment due Nov. 1, the election of officers, the end-of-the-year party, and volunteers to help put lime in the horse barn.
The new president is Brandon Kleese, the new vice president is Austin Stalder, the new secretary is Lexi Black, the new treasurer is Olivia Nisly and the new reporter is Allie Gerot.
The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. and adjourned by Haylie Trowbridge at 8:03 p.m. The U.S. pledge was started by Lexi Black and the 4-H pledge was started by Allie Gerot.
