The March 20 meeting of the Franklin Cubs was called to order by president Ben Schneider. Brady Knutson led the Pledge of Allegiance. Garrett Conway gave secretary?s report for Feb. 21. Cooper Reed gave treasurer?s report. Both reports were approved and recorded. Roll call was held and members responded with ?how they were coming on their 4-H projects.? They discussed old business and the recent dodgeball tournament. The club discussed new business and ideas for RAGBRAI and cleanup the day after RAGBRAI comes through Washington. They will be volunteering at the Pancake Breakfast on April 16, before the IJBBA Open Cattle Show. They ordered club T-shirts for the County Fair. The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge led by Cooper Reed. Cooper Reed gave a presentation on ?Old English Bulldogs.? Gabe Greiner gave a presentation on ?Reloading Shotgun Shells.? Brady Knutson hosted the meeting and provided scotcheroos. The next meeting of the Franklin Cubs will be held on April 17, at 5:30 p.m. at the Washington County Extension office.
