The meeting of the Jackson Jets 4-H club was held May 15, at 6 p.m., at the extension office. The recreation was led by Jessica Hora and the Pledge of Allegiance was lead by David Hora. The roll call was your favorite sport. There were two orders of old business covered, fundraisers and community service. It was decided that the club would look into planting flowers around the fairgrounds during the summer. It was also decided that the Pizza Ranch Tip Night fundraiser would be held during the summer; the date of the fundraiser is yet to be decided.
The next meeting will be held on June 12, at the Spenner farm at 5 p.m. There will be a picnic and a club picture, members are to wear their 4-H shirt. County events were discussed such as the 4-H youth conference scheduled for the end of June. The theme is ?Dive Into New Depths.?
Anyone who has completed eighth to 12th grade may attend. Register by June 1. The meeting was adjourned. The 4-H pledge was led by Jameson Spenner. Presentations were given by Olivia Marek and Roy Carter.
