Seven members of the Readers and Writers Department of Fortnightly Club met Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Washington Public Library.
President Patty Roe conducted a brief business meeting. Annual Fortnightly dues were collected. Arrangements were being finalized for a guest speaker, a published author, to talk to the group this fall.

The next suggested topic is ?An Old Photograph.? The next meeting will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Washington Public Library. Guests and potential members are welcome.
