The West Chester United Methodist Women met on Nov. 11, 2015, at the Applewood Bistro at the Halcyon house in Washington for a delicious lunch. Seven members and one guest, Carla Brunk, were present.

The West Chester United Methodist Women met on Nov. 11, 2015, at the Applewood Bistro at the Halcyon house in Washington for a delicious lunch. Seven members and one guest, Carla Brunk, were present.
After lunch, president Sharon Hahn opened the business meeting with prayer. The secretary?s and the treasurer?s reports were given. The election night supper was discussed. The group had served about 180 people. It was reported that the food was delicious. Not many changes need to be made for next year?s event.
Nancy Schmidt had the 2016 program books completed and given to members present.
Pat Dusenbery, Education and Interpretation chairman, reported on deaconesses? birthdays and problems of the UMC in Russia. Sharon Hahn and Nancy Schmidt delivered 32 school bags and 15 health kits to the Ingathering in Mount Pleasant. The Thank Offering program was presented, with donations being sent to the district treasurer.
The next meeting will be on Dec. 9 with a lunch at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington at noon. The group will visit members in the Health Center. Pat and Jeaniene Dusenbery will be in charge of arrangements.
Sharon Hahn closed the meeting by reading Psalms 121.
