The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Washington Public Library. Five members attended, and Ferd Marie was the presiding officer.

The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Washington Public Library. Five members attended, and Ferd Marie was the presiding officer.
The first item of business was stuffing and addressing envelopes containing the newsletter and invitation for the annual dinner to be held at 6 p.m., April 25, at the Altenhofen Barn. The program topic will be Amish Barns.
Mike Zahs announced that there will be a Brinton Film Festival, May 1-2, at the Graham Opera House.
The summer exhibit in Conger House will be wedding dresses and accessories.
The next meeting will be at 9 a.m., April 28, in Conger House in Washington.
