The regular meeting of the Jackson Jets 4-H club was held on Jan. 10, at the Washington county Extension building.

The meeting was called to order at 5:07 p.m. It was decided that the club will host another party at the Halcyon House in the spring.

Cash premium checks were discussed. Please cash them as soon as possible. Members who did not pick up their checks should contact Bob Spenner. Beef weights will be verified on Jan. 31.

It was announced that the brand new jacksonjets.org was created and is now online. Thank you to Jack Carter for creating and maintaining the web site. Please refer to the site for club information.

An informative talk was given by Jack Carter and Emily Hora on how to apply for State Council, State Awards and National 4-H Conference and Congress. These applications are due Feb. 1.

The next meeting will be held Feb. 14, at 5 p.m. In the fair board room of the County Extension building.
